Mother F*cker! 21/09/2007
Yes yes y'all!
How are we?
Ok, so I played at Mother Bar in Old St on Friday night. 4 random bands on the bill. Nothing at all to compliment my subtle electro/acoutic stylings whatsoever! Sounds all too familiar doesn't it? It was.
I played pretty well though. I tell you what, this 'rehearsing regularly' thing that a friend told me about actually works! I think it's the pink pointy boots myself..
Anyway, the gig is worthy of note only because the last band, who sounded like early Verve and were about 18 years old, got frog-marched out of the venue by the Polish mafia bouncers for playing over their allotted time slot! Like it's Wembley f*cking stadium or something!! My mate shouted 'fascists' at them but they didn't care. The poor little b*stards were standing outside afterwards with their parents, nursing the finger marks on their necks! Old St has changed....
Good news on Sat, 'Butterfly' got played on Radio 6 and I got a few e-mails from interested parties. Hopefully someone will start getting decent gigs for me because obviously I can't seem to manage it! I do it for YOU readers honest! The better the show, the sh*tter the blog as they say...
Ohter news is that I've got a new haircut. It's a cross between a mullet and a mohican. A mo-let/mull-hican if you will. I got the idea from these guys...

I'm playing at The Abbey on Sunday 7th Oct if you want to come and see my new hair?
Also, check out my new song 'Dance Like No-One's Looking' on my MySpace page (link on the right). It's inspired by that scene in Napoleon Dynamite where he dances to 'Canned Heat' by JK. It's a bit random but let me know if you think it's any good...
Until next time...
